Hanna’s Senior Portrait Session by Brianne Bradbury Photography

I LOVED photographing Hanna for her senior portraits in Gilberts. She’s a ballerina and it was amazing incorporating that into the session. We also chose the location because it’s special to her and her family. They frequent that specific forest preserve in Gilberts right by her house and it was the perfect backdrop. We did have a bit of rain to compete with, but I was obsessed with the sun shining through during the rain for a couple of pics. I was really thankful it only lasted about 10 minutes.

One of my favorite things about senior sessions is seeing the different clothing options. I help beforehand a lot of time, but sometimes it’s decisions on location like with Hanna’s session. She had brought a couple different skirts with the leotard and I got excited over the beautiful red skirt.

Congrats Hanna and all the other 2018 seniors at Hampshire High School!

Roselle Extended Family Portrait Session

The best time to do extended family sessions is when everyone is already together! This fun family decided to book a session on black friday since everyone was already in town for Thanksgiving. We had amazing weather and while it was a little windy, I couldn’t have been happier with it. Of course the California relatives were a bit cold 😉

The only baby in the group was Skully, the mini golden doodle! She was so adorable and matched the scenery perfectly. It was a blast to capture the personalities of this family. I’m sure you can tell how serious everyone was during the session too.

Schaumburg Family Portrait Session at Prairie Center for the Arts

I can’t believe Henry was six months during this session since it seems like I just photographed his newborn session. They live pretty close to the Prairie Center for the Arts and the Sculpture Park which has beautiful grounds that we took advantage of! As many of you know that my favorite time to photograph is during golden hour and sunset. Since Henry wasn’t able to run around yet it allowed me to play with the lighting and get some sunset images too.

Arlington Heights family portrait session by Brianne Bradbury Photography

Here’s an adorable Arlington Heights family portrait session introducing their newest daughter Matilda with the addition of a wonderful sister and some adorable cousins too! Big sister, Eleanor, was absolutely perfect! She has the most amazing smile and her laugh was contagious and as long as there is laughing during the session I’m a happy camper. Nancy, John, Eleanor and Matilda just moved into their home and it made for a great backdrop. I always like moving around the house if possible to keep with kids from getting too bored and they had three different rooms full of wonderful light.

If you can’t tell, Eleanor and Johnny, her cousin, are best friends. The held hands and we made sure to get some of just the two of them. I hope they always stay this close!

Huntley Extended Family Sun City Del Webb Family Session with Brianne Bradbury Photography

I adore getting to photograph large families! Jane called me because she wanted to update her family photos in her home. Her grandkids were all small the last time they did a session and she wanted to make sure we got a good one of everyone together! They were a lot of fun and up for anything. Thankfully I met with Jane ahead of time and we scoped out where in Del Webb we wanted to do our evening session.

It was one of those 90 degree days, but since we waited until golden hour we weren’t melting too bad. When I do extended family, I always make sure to get all the different combinations for the family. Jane and Brian have three kids and then they each have adorable families. The nice thing about that is it gives everyone a slight break with smiling while I’m doing the individual families. haha.

Sometimes the weather doesn’t cooperate, but here’s an extended family indoor session here!
