Woodstock Family Portrait Session by Brianne Bradbury Photography

Can you tell who the star of the session was in the photos? Toby was an absolute star for this adorable families photoshoot at their parent’s house in Woodstock. I absolutely love Woodstock and living close by because their downtown is something magical. Their farmers market is the best and as long as it isn’t freezing, I’m excited for the lighting of the square.

We were planning to go to one of my favorites which is Pleasant Valley Conservation Area (here’s my favorite fall extended family session from there), but it was so cold that having an inside option was a great idea. I love going in and being able to figure out the best location for indoor pics. Their cozy seat in front of a window was my favorite!

Catherine contacted me because she wanted to book a photo session to her parents for her mom’s birthday from her and her sisters, Mary and Julia. I always love such thoughtful gifts! I hope Pauline loves them!

Huntley Fall Portrait Session at Deicke Park by Brianne Bradbury Photography

It was cold last Saturday, but not anything compared to this week. I’m so glad we were able to get this session in before winter came out of nowhere and Deicke Park in Huntley was the perfect setting once again. Edwin was an absolute champ and his adorable little smile was perfect. I loved learning about Brittany and Scott’s love story too. She contacted me to get Scott a gift certificate when they first started dating. It was such a thoughtful gift and I couldn’t wait to meet them.

Even though the weather was a bit cold, I love the red and black plaid. It looks so incredibly cozy. If you’re loving the look check out this engagement session at Deicke Park.

Deicke Park Family Portrait Session by Brianne Bradbury Photography

I love Deicke Park in Huntley and no it’s not because it’s right by my house. It is the perfect setting for a portrait whether it be in the morning or evening. It has so many different possibilites in such a little area. Also if you haven’t been to either of their playgrounds then you’re missing out. I’m all for bribing to get some smiles for the session and letting the little ones play at the little kid or big kid playground is a perfect bribe.

It was so much fun to photograph this family and the boys are too funny. Can you find the pic where I taught Logan how to look like he’s picking his nose in a pic? Of where Carrie and Parker are pretending to have a light saber fight? I think my favorite is the last one. Logan will always be the baby no matter how big and grown up he gets. It just screams love to me!

Deicke Park engagement session by Brianne Bradbury Photography

Deicke Park in Huntley made for the perfect backdrop to Christina and Russell’s engagement session. We had the PERFECT day. It was what I’d call my ideal fall day and after so much rain we were due for it. It wasn’t the only perfect thing because these two were pretty perfect. The way Russell looked at Christina could melt anyone’s heart. They said it was because he was thinking of what he’d get for breakfast though. I guess that’s what you get when you’ve known each other since second grade.

We walked all around the park and I got to hear about their upcoming Disney wedding. I’m jealous of their awesome plans! Congratulations to this adorable couple.

Carthage College Family Portraits by Brianne Bradbuy Photography

I had a great time photographing this family for another year! They have the best luck when it comes to weather because it was supposed to rain. The day before the forecast was looking grey and cloudy, but the sun was out all day for them. We have a couple new additions which is always a blast to switch it up. Baby Hudson was just the cutest and definitely the apple in everyones eye. A few well timed sneezes had him laughing like I was the funniest photographer ever.

I made the hike up to Carthage College and my goodness is it gorgeous! There were so many little nooks and cranies to shoot in. I loved ending on the beach too. You can’t go wrong with a shoreline picture of Lake Michigan.
